The short version: We use a small number of cookies to make the site work, understand traffic, and show ads that keep QRsnapp free. You can manage your choices anytime using the button below.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners.
Similar technologies — like local storage, pixels, and web beacons — are also used in ways that resemble cookies. This policy covers all of these technologies, referred to collectively as "cookies".
2. How we use cookies
QRsnapp uses cookies for three main reasons:
- To make the site work — remembering your settings and cookie preferences
- To understand how people use the site — so we can improve it
- To show ads — because advertising is what keeps QRsnapp free
The QR codes you generate are created in your browser and never sent to our servers. Cookies do not capture the content of your QR codes.
3. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
These are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.

_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Session state | 2 years |

4. Third-party services that set cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use. These companies have their own privacy and cookie policies:

5. Managing your cookie preferences
Via our cookie banner
When you first visit QRsnapp, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your choices. You can change your mind anytime by clicking the button below.
Via your browser
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Here's how, by browser:
Note: blocking essential cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working. Blocking advertising cookies is fine — you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized.
Opting out of personalized advertising
You can opt out of personalized ads from Google and other advertisers:
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry standard for responding to DNT, we currently do not respond to DNT signals, but we do respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where legally required.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy occasionally to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
